Job description

Besides direct work as a CNC miller, you are also responsible for preparing orders so that they can be carried out according to the correct working method and in the correct order. In addition, you will directly support the Manufacturing Technician with tasks such as liaising with maintenance parties, programming and guiding and supporting our CNC Operators in case of problems and will also solve them directly and change work instructions if necessary. You will be part of an impressive and unique production process. As a result of your work, you ensure that your colleagues from other departments at NTS Helmond can also move forward on time and that everything is delivered to our clients as desired.

Furthermore, your duties are:

• Translating provided data into routings, parts lists, inspection instructions and work orders and adjust routings and production documentation after consultation;
• Programming and editing product specials;
• Checking orders and you discuss deviations with Manufacturing Technician and production managers;
• Assist production workers with problems and solve them, modify work instructions and provide special tools if necessary;
• Support improvements with regard to the production process;
• Management of production documentation with corresponding configurations.

Job requirements

• Experience as a CNC miller;
• Experience with CAD/CAM programming (Hypermill is a strong plus) and also able to draw with Solidworks;
• Strong communication skills as you will be dealing with many different colleagues and stakeholders;
• Some experience with work preparation and improving production processes;
• MBO 3/4 education in the direction of machining;
• You speak Dutch and English in word and writing.
