The Marketing and Communications Manager will be based in Eindhoven and reports to the CCO.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Track market developments and develop the corporate branding, product marketing roadmap, and (internal) communication strategy in line with NTS’s overall strategy.
  • Based on this strategy, draft and safeguard the product marketing & communications plan, positioning NTS as a strong brand with a clear and distinguishing value proposition.
  • Manage day-to-day marketing & communications operations: lead and develop the team, set KPIs, manage the budget and pro-actively manage stakeholders like customers, the sites, management & supervisory board and the global commercial team.

Brand Positioning and PR:

  • Build NTS brand positioning and conduct surveys to measure the image, identity, and profile.
  • Undertake PR initiatives like sponsorships, advertising, and lead spokesperson activities.

Marketing Communications:

  • Manage Customer Marketing Communications Specialist daily.
  • Draft annual plan to achieve commercial goals; support initiatives like trade shows and online activities.
  • Determine objectives, plans, priorities, and propositions; allocate and monitor budgets.
  • Prioritize activities; make in- and outsourcing decisions.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers; ensure quality, time, and budget compliance.
  • Evaluate KPIs (e.g., lead generation, event organization, online conversion); intervene as needed.
  • Conduct surveys among clientss to understand NTS image and profile.

Internal Communication:

  • Manage Internal Communication Manager daily.
  • Work with Internal Communication Manager on annual internal communication plan and resource allocation.
  • Define objectives, plans, priorities, and propositions; allocate and monitor budgets.
  • Prioritize activities; make in- and outsourcing decisions.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers; ensure quality, time, and budget compliance.
  • Evaluate KPIs (e.g., internal communication, intranet engagement); intervene as needed.

Product Marketing:

  • Conduct market exploration, including analysis, customer insights, and competition assessment.
  • Collaborate with D&E, Site MDs, Key Account, and Business Development Managers to develop and align commercial roadmaps.
  • Develop value propositions for the commercial product roadmap with input from Sales, D&E, and sites.
  • Establish and maintain thought leadership in NTS focus products and expertise
  • Build and drive business cases to support growth in manufacturing, geographical expansion, or competence development.
  • Present these business cases to the management board to get buy in and approval

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent MBA.
  • Minimum 10 years of product marketing & communications experience in a high-tech environment
  • Hands-on leadership experience leading a marketing team.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proven track record in developing high-performing teams.
  • Motivates and develops team members.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English, verbal and written.
