Job description
As a Quality Engineer at NTS Drachten you have an antenna for potential errors and deviations. After all, prevention is better than cure. With quality indicators, audits, analyses and close contact with the production floor, you continuously scan potential risks. You do not settle for satisfactory results, but strive for continuous improvement.
In this versatile position, you and your colleagues are responsible for our quality policy, i.e. planning and monitoring all aspects surrounding quality, safety and the environment. You will also work closely with other departments including NPI project teams, work preparation, the measuring room and have close contact with customers and suppliers.
Furthermore, your duties are:
Analyzing quality problems and gathering facts;
Reviewing proposals leading to quality or efficiency improvements;
Setting up, implementing and supervising improvement projects both independently and in project teams;
Reporting to customers and suppliers on quality aspects;
Assessing quality registrations;
Performing and supervising audits both internally and at customers/suppliers;
Assessing product deviations (identified internally or by the customer).
Job requirements
A completed technical HBO education, for example Mechanical Engineering or Technical Business Administration;
Knowledge of and experience with pFMEA, Control Plans and MSAs;
You speak Dutch in word and writing and preferably also English;
At least 5 years experience as Quality Engineer in a technical (production) environment;
You are a strong personality and have excellent communication skills;
You are result-oriented and can work independently as well as in a team.
