Job Description

As a Software Lead Engineer, you will be part of a team of SW engineers and SW architects to develop applications with a focus on (embedded) software in precision development. You contribute to the optimal operation of the team in different areas. This means delivering software that follows a clear process, accurate estimation, and high quality. You are part of a balanced team that enjoys developing these applications.

The SW Lead Engineer will work together with engineers from different disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and mechatronics.

Clear and transparent communication is essential. You proactively mitigate risks and roadblocks while delivering your work on time and according to high quality standards. You have sufficient knowledge of software and software processes. You need to be able to identify gaps and proactively define and execute mitigation actions.

Job Requirements

You bring a balance of technical and soft skills to the table. Your main responsibilities and competencies cover the following experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in developing technical software in C# and embedded C
• Profound knowledge of OOP and UML
• Experience in an Agile development team
• Experience in a high-tech mechatronic environment is a significant plus
• Additional knowledge in one of the following areas would benefit the team: Databases, PLC, Test Strategies, electronics/mechatronics

Furthermore, as a person, you would be best described as follows:

• Well-developed communication and social skills. You know how to convey complex topics in understandable terms
• Strong language skills in English
• Eager to learn and develop in the high-tech market
• Proficient in the English language
