We believe that the greatest attention should be given to handling personal data. For this reason, we take the utmost care in processing and protecting personal data. We also adhere to the requirements of the EU data protection and privacy law (GDPR) and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
About us
NTS is specialized in developing high-precision systems, modules and components for the high-tech industry. We inform our customers and potential new employees about developments at NTS through our websites and social media. We process personal data and in some cases we work together with other organizations or companies to analyze this data.
What is personal data?
According to the GDPR, personal data consists of any information about an identified or identifiable natural person. This means information that is directly about someone or which can be traced back to a person.
There are many types of personal data. Obvious examples are a person’s name, address and place of residence. However, telephone numbers and postal codes with house numbers are also forms of personal data. Sensitive data such as a person’s race, religion or health are also known as special personal data. These are given extra protection in the legislation.
What personal data do we collect?
We collect personal data from visitors to our websites or from anyone who contacts NTS-Group in the following ways:
- By using our website, through the cookies placed by the website
- When the user provides personal data
We then collect the following data:
- IP address
- Cookies
We also collect personal data via social media such as Twitter and Linkedin. This enables us to gain a better understanding of applicants who wish to work with us.
What do we use personal data for?
We use personal data for one or more of the following purposes:
- Optimizing the user experience on our website
- Processing applications
- Performing a contract
- Maintaining customer relationships
Users are also able to leave personal data on our website, for example for a newsletter.
We process the personal data that you leave with us. This information can be:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Address
- Phone number
We use this information to keep you informed of developments within NTS or to let you know about vacancies available within our group.
How long do we retain personal data?
We do not store personal data for any longer than we need to for the relevant purpose of the data. However, we may store data for longer if required by law.
When you provide us with data for subscribing to a newsletter, we keep the data while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we will delete your data after three months.
Who do we share personal information with?
NTS does not share your personal data with third parties. However, we may engage third parties to perform services for us. In that case, we carefully select these parties and conclude processing agreements in which the party is obliged to keep your data confidential and to only process your personal data on our behalf. We may also disclose your information if we are legally required to do so.
Google Analytics
NTS uses Google Analytics to track how users use the website and how effective our Adwords ads are on Google search result pages. The information thus obtained, including the address of your computer (IP address), is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. For more information, read the Google privacy policy and the specific privacy policy of Google Analytics.
Google uses this information to monitor how our website is used, to provide reports to us on the website and to be able to offer its advertisers information on the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google can provide this information to third parties if legally obliged to do so, or if such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. NTS has no influence on this. NTS does not allow Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services.
Our vision on security and the measures we take.
We treat the protection of personal data seriously. Therefore, we take appropriate organizational and technical measures to prevent the misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure or unauthorized modification of data or any other form of unlawful processing.
Our employees who have access to your personal data are bound by a confidentiality clause. They can only access your personal data if it is necessary for the performance of their duties.
Your right to inspect, rectify or delete the personal data.
Under the GDPR, individuals from whom we collect personal data have various rights regarding their personal data to guarantee their privacy. These rights are as follows:
- Right to access data
- Right to improve / supplement data
- Right to remove data
- Right to restrict processing of data
- Right of data portability
- Right to object against processing of data

When we receive your request, we will check how we can comply with your request in the best possible way and we will then send you a response.
